Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, optional phone, profile photo, and preferences.
- Travel content — trips, itineraries, expenses, journal entries, and photos you add.
- Bookings — passenger and tour details you provide to complete a booking.
- Usage & device data — app version, crashes, feature usage (e.g. Firebase Analytics).
- Location — only when you grant permission, for maps, weather, and nearby suggestions.
- Sign-in providers — name and email from Google or Apple when you choose social login.
How we use your data
- Provide and improve trip planning, discovery, bookings, and collaboration features.
- Personalize recommendations and show relevant content.
- Send service notifications, booking updates, and support replies.
- Keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Sharing & processors
We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted processors under contract, including Supabase (hosting/database), Google Firebase (analytics, messaging, crash reporting), and payment providers for tours (they process payment details — Movin does not store card numbers).
Storage, retention & security
Data is encrypted in transit and protected with access controls. We retain data only as long as needed for the Service, legal obligations, or disputes, then delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
- Access, correct, or export your data from the app or by emailing privacy@movin.id.
- Delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account, or email support@movin.id.
- Withdraw location or notification permissions in your device settings.
- Users in Indonesia may exercise rights under UU PDP; users in the EU/UK and other regions may have additional rights under local law.
Children
Movin is not directed at anyone under 18. If you believe a minor created an account, contact privacy@movin.id and we will remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app and on our website before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
